The FIA Formula 1 Calendar 2008
Here we are then, a eighteen-race season in prospect for 2008. Melbourne takes its almost traditional position as season opener, the first of the familiar three "fly-away" races before the return to Europe in late April. Hockenheim returns as the host for the German GP while the European GP follows the changing demographics from the Nurburgring to a new street circuit in Valencia.  With the demise of the United States GP, the ten race 'European' season is punctuated by just one North American race during June  The season concludes with four more "fly-away" races, the first of which is the new street circuit in Singapore, "under lights". The finale will again be at the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paolo.
