Click on the headlines above for the latest Formula 1 news from TotalF1 or follow one of the links further down this page Formerly my photo favourite F1-Live now under the ESPN banner. I'll reserve judgement for a while but it looks like their excellent back-catalogue of photos is still available. After their needlessly pedantry regarding my use of the F1 logo, I almost removed this link. However, that would have been a shame as - despite being nauseatingly 'on message' - the site it has many excellent F1 insights. Wet qualifying and dry race? Or vice versa? Quick links to weather forecasts at the world's motorport venues. Finally a couple of sites that don't give the latest testing news or the FIA missive: Nice clear and concise guide to how Formula 1 works. A handy summary of the FIA changes this season with full details for the truly dedicated. A comprehensive sports betting website that pulls together odds from all over the internet. Those bookies are no mugs.
The above links are fairly general but here a couple of specific pages you may find useful from the Formula 1 website:
I've only just discovered this website. They carried some interesting articles analysing winter testing. Looking forward to seeing how it reports the races.
News, reports and schedule of the free to view TV coverage (in UK only). Practice, qualifying and the race also shown on-line; highlights available on iplayer.
A stunning non-commercial website by Andrew Novikov with a huge amount of historical data from the birth of the modern Formula 1 era in 1951 to the present date.
Crawls other F1 websites and picks-up their headlines. Can be slow sometimes but is still a very useful resource.

The proverbial 'bouche du cheval'; this is my source for qualifying and race results and those official FIA edicts.
FIA Formula 1 World Championship 2010 So what changes are there to Formula 1 for 2010? Well, the Technical Regulations have had minimal tweaking, and are very much FOTA inspired rather than the radical ones Max Mosley proposed. The most obvious change will be the ban on race re-fuelling. Instead of carrying little more than 80 litres at any stage, cars this year must start with around 240 litres on board (that's about 180kg added to a car weighing 620kg empty). To accommodate all that fuel the cars have got longer by around 200mm, and with another year of aerodynamic evolution, the cars have a more sinewy, sharper look this year. Engine efficiency will be important so as to run as little fuel as possible, as will a driver's ability to conserve his tyres during the heavy fuel phase. This will bring the added bonus of a return to a low-fuel, flat-out conclusion to qualifying. Also, there will be - in theory - no KERS this year. I say in theory, as it is the teams themselves that have agreed to a multilateral ban; energy recovery is still allowed by the Regulations. Another obvious change will be the increased and extended points system that greater benefits the winner and rewards down to 10th place, so should also see everyone finish the season with some points. With the ban on refuelling, a sort of back-door route for the strategists was belatedly introduced whereby the top ten from qualifying must start the race on the tyres on which they qualified. However, I can't help thinking the refuelling ban without some relaxing of the tyres rules might produce some dreadfully dull and processional races. I hope I'm wrong, and that instead we have some of the classic racing from pre-1994.
